Secretariat Closed During Christmas, Deadlines for Hiring, Technical Administration and IT Opening Hours, and Building Access
During the Christmas holidays, the secretariat will be closed, and Tech Administration and IT will operate with adjusted opening hours. Access to BCE’s buildings will also be affected.
The BCE Secretariat is Closed
From 20 December to 4 January (both days included), the BCE Secretariat will be closed.
During this period, you should not expect assistance, so please make sure to send any inquiries well in advance of the closure period.
Information regarding recruitment cases must be received by the secretariat no later than 14 December 2025.

Access to and Conditions in Buildings
Temperatures and ventilation will not be turned down during the holiday, but we encourage all staff to unplug electrical devices, switch off lights, and lower radiators in their offices if they know they will not be present during Christmas and New Year.
Similarly, in laboratories, all electronic equipment not in use should be switched off, and ventilation in fume hoods, etc., should be kept to a minimum.
Aarhus
From 20 December to 4 January, access to our buildings will be limited to key card use. You can still enter the buildings, but you must use your key card and PIN code, just as you would normally do on weekends, evenings, or early mornings.
AU Viborg and the Biogas Plant
At AU Viborg and the biogas plant, access continues as normal. Here, you must always use your key card to enter the buildings.

Opening Hours in the Faculty Administration and IT
The Nat-Tech Administrative Centre will be closed from 23 December to 2 January (both days included).
Facility Management will be present in the buildings throughout the holiday, but with limited staff.
IT support will be open from 9:00–13:00 by phone at 8715 0944, and for in-person assistance on campus (on 29 and 30 December). Other help desks will be closed.
On 22 December, only limited HR staff will be present.
In UDD, staffing will be limited, but studieservice.nat-tech@au.dk<svg class="block h-[0.75em] w-[0.75em] stroke-current stroke-[0.75]" data-rtl-flip=""></svg>
will be monitored throughout the Christmas holiday, and urgent matters will be handled.
Nat-Tech Finance
Nat-Tech Finance will be closed from 23 December 2025 to 2 January 2026 (both days included). Staff cannot be contacted during this period.
