Important deadlines for initiating employments and inviting guests

From the start of 2023 AU will get a new HR system, mitHR. The implementation of the system will affect the current deadlines for informing about new employments and inviting guests to the department.

Below you will find an overview of deadlines in connection with the implementation of mitHR. It is very important that deadlines are kept. It is not possible to exceed a deadline and process staff requests after deadlines, since all systems will be locked down.

Inform Azra on abb@bce.au.dk if you have any new employments or guests in the periods mentioned below.

Important deadlines for employments: Employments starting in February 2023 December 1 2022: Employments of DK citizens ONLY (for EU and non-EU citizens it is not possible with start date in February) Employments starting in March 2023 December 1 2022: Employments of both DK, EU and non-EU citizens Employments starting in April 2023 January 1 2023: Employments of non-EU citizens (for DK and EU citizens HR’s normal deadlines are valid)

Important deadlines for visiting guests: Guests starting in February 2023 December 1 2022: DK and EU citizens ONLY (For non-EU citizens it is not possible with start date in February) Guests starting in March 2023 December 1 2022: Both DK, EU and non-EU citizens Guests starting in April 2023 January 1 2023: Non-EU citizens (for DK and EU citizens HR’s normal deadlines are valid)

The implementation of mitHR will also mean changes in registration of working hours on projects and administrative changes in the registration of holidays and other types of absence.

The changes will not enter into force before 1 January 2023 and concrete details still need to be clarified from centrally. Once we have concrete knowledge and insight in the changes you will be informed.
